War is a Racket

Below is a book review written by Jeffrey De Laure on December 15,2024 (which seems to have been written by a “military man” who understands the broader aspects of the subjects related to the ethics of war). In this book review Jeffrey De Laure speaks about how Major General Smedley D. Butler addresses the key points of how big business often profits from wars at the expense of those who fight these wars. This book was written in 1935 by a military hero who had firsthand knowledge of war and its effects upon people and nations.

However, this is only a short-book which barely scratches the surface of deeper issues involved with the “Military-Industrial-Complex” (MIC). Jeffrey De Laure is correct that there must be a much deeper analysis exposing how corrupt politicians that run governments often profit from their association with the (MIC) and how huge business profits are derived from starting and prolonging wars.

It should be noted that under the 2025 presidency of Donald Trump it was revealed that Zelensky could not account for the billions of U.S. dollars sent to the Ukraine by the U.S. (under the Biden administration). This means that huge amounts of money was essentially lost (untraceable) and therefore available to enrich Zelensky and his cronies as well as providing large “kickbacks” paid to the corrupt U.S. politicians of the Biden regime (who sent that money). It is not surprising that such political leaders have become hugely rich even when their salaries do not pay them that much. Under the 2025 Trump administration, Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has discovered that liberals under Biden were squandering billions of dollars by graft and corruption and wasteful spending.

Also, the liberal support of the war in Ukraine was done not only to enrich warmongers like themselves but these liberals also hoped to dethrone a strong leader (such as Putin) from governing a now “Christian-nation” like Russia.
